Cardiff Distillery has one of the best masterclasses in the city, taking around two hours and held by the distillery’s top mixologist. Hens can opt for a standard or premium package (£25/35pp), where they’ll make, and drink, a selection of cocktails like the French Martini, Mojito and Daiquiri (standard) and the Espresso Martini, Cosmopolitan and Pornstar Martini (Premium). Towards the end of the session students will be served delicious sharing mezze boards and also have access to the distillery bar’s happy hour, so they cancarry on the party.

Striptease life drawing

Nothing gets a hen night going like a scantily clad male, fact. One of the most sophisticated and wholesome ways to said male on a hen night is by partaking in a striptease life drawing class. One of Cardiff’s most popular hen activities, hen groups will get to settle into a serious life drawing class, but instead of drawing bowls of fruit, they’ll be drawing a hunky male model. All very classy, a professional art tutor leads the session in which all the inc, paper, charcoal and pencils are provided. The bride-to-be will even get her own surprise striptease at the start of the class and a bottle of wine/bubbly included in the price. The class, which lasts an hour and a half, finished with a certificate of participation for all guests.

Cardiff Distillery boozy brunch

Coyote Ugly Saloon

Live out your younger self’s dream by bagging a table at Coyote Ugly Saloon, Cardiff’s legendary good-time bar inspired by the iconic noughties film. A replica of the Coyote Ugly bar, Coyote Ugly Saloon was quite frankly built for hen parties, open seven nights a week and offering seriously attractive drinks packages. For just £125, hens can get queue jump, advance entry, a reserved table and witness service, sharing platterand four pitchers of cocktails or three bottles of Prosecco. The Glee Club

Come to Cardiff’s Glee club for a night of light-hearted debauchery, where its legendary stage is frequently graced by world-class drag, cabaret and burlesque acts. The venue regularly hosts stars from RuPaul’s Drag Race (think Baga Chips, Cheryl Hole and The Vivienne) along with headliners in the world of cabaret from around the globe. Its flagship show is the Gilded Merkin, and hens are guaranteed a night of raunchiness, naughtiness and pure entertainment. Groups can pre-order food and drinks online which will be served to them at their table during the show. Cocktails include two-litre pitchers of guilty classics like boozy Long Island Iced Tea, Blue Lagoon and Woo Woo.
